Blogging challenge: day twenty-one

I’ve been out tonight to see the lovely Wes Anderson movie, ‘The Grand Budapest Hotel’. What a delight it was. A wonderful combination of humour, pathos and amazing attention to detail.

I read an interesting article about Annie Atkins, who designed all the graphics for the film. I don’t think that many people realise just how much effort goes into the design of a film. It’s a whole fascinating area of work, and Anne’s creativity is very evident in the film. Every little detail has been given the utmost care and attention. I admit to being a little bit envious of her talent, but I remind myself that she has obviously worked hard at her craft.

You can see more of her work here.
